Did you know that 60 or so important Cornish buildings are in danger of being lost? Well, neither did we. According to Cornwall Live Historic England\u2019s \u2018At Risk\u2019 Register shows that some are close to collapse, or else in poor or a bad state of repair, including, Rosewarne House, the former Ruan Major Parish Church, Cusgarne Manor, 13 High St Launceston, Treffry Viaduct, Maker Heights Barracks and Guard House, Perran Foundry, Carclew House, Trenearne Farmhouse, Sara\u2019s Foundry in Redruth, Holmbush Mine Engine House, Market House St Austell, the Old Bishop\u2019s Palace St Columb, Scraesdon Fort and the medieval chapel of St Thomas a Becket in Bodmin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Surprisingly several parish churches are also in the list in varying states of repair, such as Blisland, Lanteglos by Camelford, Crowan, Cuby, Penwerris, Ruan Minor, Lanhydrock and Lanivet. Several architecturally important Methodist Churches are also in a poor or bad state, including, those at Charlestown, Carharrack, Little Trethewey, Porkellis, Chapel at Hall, Trinity Chapel Newlyn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
